2014 Unico Zelo Muscat d’Alessandria

Sourced from 70 year old bush vines from Ricca Terra Farms in the Riverland region, this wine saw three days of skin contact and underwent barrel fermentation. A wonderfully textural wine, that developed while drinking.

I got wafts of peaches and apricots, with more soft fruit flavors delivered on the palate. Has managed to maintain a freshness, reminiscent of must shortly after pressing. Such an interesting texture and subtly creamy mouthfeel. Great value, particularly for this style of wine.
