2014 Unico Sauvignon Blanc

With grapes sourced from three vineyards in the Northern part of the Adelaide Hills, this wine spent around 3 weeks in contact with its skins and around 60% of it was barrel fermented. Not your average Sauvignon Blanc.

Savory nose with some herbaceous and minerally elements. Not much of the typical fruity aromas for this varietal. Reminds me a bit of some Vermentinos I've had. Interesting aromas, texture, and mild acidity make this probably the most unusual Sauvignon Blanc I've had. I
